Flying has always been an interest of mine, so when the opportunity arose for me to go on some training flights with my good friend Scott, I jumped at the chance.
Scott is a member of Windy City Flyers, a 'flight club' based at Palwaukee airport. At the risk of sounding like an advertisement, I recommend anyone who wants to learn to fly, or who flies out of Palwaukee, drop by and see what they have to offer. They have a large array of planes for rent and the crew that works there is first class.
So far, I've gone up in a Cessna 182RG and a SR20. The Cirrus is a very cool plane, especially with the avionics package on the plane that the club has.
